What is Undead Basshead?

Well, to understand, first, you must have a creative imagination. Not everyone is going to understand this brand’s concept. And that’s okay. This brand will most likely not be relevant to everyone. Some people may think this is a fishing brand.. or perhaps one might assume zombie fish.. And I can tell you straight away, it has nothing to do with fish. But.. for those of you who will get it, that’s friggin’ awesome and I’m glad you’re here!

Now.. the best way I can describe this is to explain my thought process during the conception of Undead Basshead. If you look at the head of a bass guitar, you’ll see.. well a bass guitar head. But, if you really stare at it, maybe even soften your gaze and think about it being the “head” of the instrument, you will then begin to perceive certain facial features. You’ll most likely notice the eyes immediately. Now, think of the word “Undead” while you look. There’s teeth at the bottom and obvious cheek bones on either side of the face. It may take you a while to really begin to see it. It took me almost three years to notice it. Now imagine it being a skull (without the bottom jaw bone and teeth). Well, if it truely is a skull, then we now must give this image a name. Skull Bass doesn’t work. Bass Face doesn’t fit either. Skull Head Bass? Nope. Um..Bass Skull? No. Okay. Let’s think about this. What other words might be associated with the word “skull”? Dead? Cranium? Scalp? Mind? Vertex? Deceased? Undead? Hmm.. Undead could work. Out of all of these words, “Undead” seems to pair best with the word “Basshead”. Well now, Undead Basshead. What does this mean? Is it related to anything actually dead or pertaining to zombies of some sort? Nope. It’s simply the name given to what I think a bass guitar head looks like. And there you have it.
